I’d say I probably under value graphic design when it comes to game development. Strategy, gameplay, discovery and progression are all much more important to me…but it seems that a lot of people really value graphics. Most of the early negative feedback I’m getting back is about the blah graphics. So I’m starting to put some effort into redesigning various elements. This is far from complete but hopefully it’s enough to get people to stop worrying about the graphics and look at the mechanics.
